What is the European Quantum Week education session?

This fully virtual event is designed to teach students in secondary schools about Quantum Science and Technologies. The main organizer of the event is the Quantum Flagship. In Austria, the Education Session is will be led by SFB BeyondC and will take place during the first edition of the European Quantum Week (EQW) 2-6.11.2020.

Who can join?

All secondary school classes can join the European Quantum Week education session.

How to join?

A school class can join by sending an email to beyondc@univie.ac.at OR by filling in the online form at beyondc.at/events/eqw2020/ before 28.10.2020.

How it works?

The interactive 50-minute lecture will take place online on 03.11.2020 at 11:00. The lecture will be given by our SFB member Dr. Martin Ringbauer on “How quantum technology wants to change the world”. The lecture will be in German. Teachers who have registered their classes will receive the link to access the live lecture and are expected to be present for the entire duration of the lecture.
